> TL;DR: Pin a comment on the frame, like "Hold on 160 GB a beat longer", and press Fix with AI. Vidiyo sends the note with its exact moment and position to the assistant, which looks at that frame, makes the change, checks it, and resolves the comment with a short note on what it did.

## What Vidiyo does

1. Takes the comment's text, its moment on the timeline and its point on the frame.
2. Looks at that moment of the cut to understand what the note refers to.
3. Makes the change in scope, as a normal undoable edit.
4. Checks the result with the quality checks and a look at the frame.
5. Resolves the comment with a short note of what changed, or explains why not.

Notes like "hold this a beat longer" or "the logo is too small here" are quick to write and fiddly to act on. Comments in Vidiyo are pinned to a moment and a point on the frame, so the assistant knows exactly what you mean when you hand one over.

## What does Vidiyo do when you say this?

When you press Fix with AI on a comment, Vidiyo sends the note with its exact moment and point on the frame to the assistant. The assistant looks at that moment of the cut, makes the change, checks it with the quality checks and a look at the frame, and resolves the comment with a short note of what changed. If it can't make a change, it says why.

The change is a normal edit: undoable, visible on the timeline and adjustable by hand. A felt note like "this part drags" gets read as something measurable, like pacing or pauses, and the reply says in one line how the assistant read it.

## How do you phrase it?

Write the comment the way you'd write it to an editor:

- "Hold on 160 GB a beat longer before the card slides away"
- "The caption covers my mouth here"
- "Cut this sentence"
- "Logo too small"
- "Add a whoosh when this comes in"

Pinning the comment to a point on the frame, like the logo itself, removes any doubt about what "this" means. Then press Fix with AI, or select several and send them together.

## How would you do this by hand?

By hand, you'd read the note, scrub to the timestamp, work out what it refers to, find the right clip, keyframe or graphic, make the change and mark the note done. With a list of twenty notes from a review, that loop repeats twenty times. Here each note carries its own context, and you review the result.

## What should you check afterwards?

Play each resolved moment once. The resolution note says what changed, so it's quick to confirm. If the fix isn't what you meant, undo it, or tell the assistant in chat what you meant with more detail. Resolved comments stay in the project's Resolved list, so you have a record of every change and why it was made.

## Honest limits

- No client review link: comments are left inside Vidiyo on your Mac.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I leave a comment?

Press C and click the video to pin one to a point on the frame, or press N to comment at the playhead. Comments show on the preview, on the timeline's Comments lane and in the Comments panel.

### Can I send several comments at once?

Yes. The Comments panel can send all open comments to the AI in one go, and the assistant works through every one before it finishes.

### Can I fix quality-check findings the same way?

Yes. Findings from the quality checks and the critic show as threads too, each with a Fix with AI button.
