Refunds

A full refund within 7 days of buying, no questions asked. Last updated 8 October 2026.

## 7 days, full refund

If Vidiyo isn’t right for you, ask within 7 days of your purchase and we’ll refund the full amount, including tax. You don’t need to give a reason.

## How to ask

Email [hello@getvidiyo.app](mailto:hello@getvidiyo.app?subject=Refund) from the email you bought with, or include that email and your order number from the receipt.

## What happens next

Polar, our payment partner and merchant of record, returns the money to the card or account you paid with. How long it takes to show depends on your bank.

The licence ends with the refund, and Vidiyo asks for a licence again on your Macs. Your projects and exports stay on your Mac.

## After 7 days

Purchases older than 7 days aren’t refunded, except where the law where you live requires it. If something isn’t working, write to us anyway and we’ll help.

## Chargebacks

Please ask us first: a refund is faster than a chargeback. A disputed payment also ends the licence.
